What started as a small glass of something fizzy to say farewell to a friend who was there for some of our formative early-parenting moments, turned into a little outlet for some creative fun; as 5 toddlers descended on our terraced house and little square of garden just before Easter.
On the menu: hand-painted Easter biscuits (with wobbly royal icing); a bunny, chick and egg hunt (more like an excited scramble); and a few toddler-friendly treats (no chocolate, mindful of the bank holiday onslaught to come!). Everything suitable for A and I to share, so no gluten or dairy involved. Here’s a little photo story of our party, before it descended into a joyful riot of pretend-play, running, scooting and sharing (I’ll be honest, sometimes not sharing ;)).
