Don’t mind me, just taking my balloons for a Long Walk. Little one thinks they are for HMQ’s birthday! 👸 📷 by @serendipitybakes
A jolly lovely time with these @Makelight friends today! Such a pleasure to be a tourist in my own town, although I failed to take as many pictures as I should have done due to chatting too much 🙈 thankyou for making the trip ☀️
Excited to show off my adopted home town in the sunshine today! I’m not sure *such* brilliance is conducive to the best photos, but the patches of shade on the Long Walk will be extra lovely 😊 I’ll pop a few snaps on stories as we go.
I went on a little blossom hunt around #Windsor ahead of having some lovely @Makelight friends visit for a photo walk this week. Sadly I think the magnolia might be all but over by Friday, but plenty of cherry trees just bursting into pink glory, and sunshine in the forecast! 🌸💂🏾‍♀️💂🏻‍♂️🏰
@mcgowankim bet me I’d be making my own #glutenfree sourdough after taking one of @naomiannedevlin ‘s courses; and here I am a week later, in the warmest bedroom with some grapes dunked in a bowl of musty-looking paste, and one of the baby’s spare muslin cloths hoping for some magic bubbles. I figured I ought to give it a shot before my big return to work in the summer when there will be no time for anything but surviving *gulp* 🍞🥖
Happy for the simplest decision about this one’s ‘big school’ application this morning! Not sure how it’s going to go when I break it to her about having to wear a uniform though.... 🍭
I sliced and froze the #glutenfree focaccia I made @rivercottagehq - now it’s crisp olive-y bruschetta underneath some scrambled duck eggs 👌🏼 if nothing else the course has inspired a big clear out of our baking cupboard - so much out of date and long forgotten! 🙈 Now maybe there’s room for new ingredients and bakeware... just don’t tell T.
A little one for #lovelycornersofhotel from my short stay at the gorgeous @dorsethouselyme . Sea *and* church views, artisan tea in earthenware cups, and a succulent in a vintage jelly mould. This place was full of such impeccable details including homemade #glutenfree treats in my room and the most incredible breakfast. Toast & marmalade gelato anyone? Highly recommended for a grown up break 💙
